A Symbol of mobilization for change

A golden Narcissus is the new symbol for the mobilization of human rights organizations, newspapers and ration stations, in their common campaign against female genital mutilation in Kurdish northern Iraq. A current media campaign in various daily newspapers radio and television stations in the entire region of Iraqi-Kurdistan is the prelude for this mobilization. The aim of the campaign is the definite banning of FGM as well as other forms of violence against women.
